All my guitars are strung with standard acoustic strings, using the low E, D and G strings, tuned to an open G chord (G-D-G, top to bottom as shown in the drawing).

Some common alternate open chord tunings are A-E-A, D-A-D, C-G-C and E-B-E.

To play, place slide (included with your guitar) over finger and press against the strings while strumming or picking and let the blues flow!
